Scholarship Masters Degree The study was conducted in an international environment, in collaboration with several academic and industrial partners. Stable funding is provided through long-term projects of Europe.

Successful candidates:

Scholarship Masters Degree Successful candidates will be able to assist in the development of a novel in-situ Raman spectrometer in the scanning electron microscope / focused ion beam system (SEM / FIB)
spectrometer development of novel tip-enhanced Raman (Ters) for nano-scale stress measurements resisdual
Scholarship Masters Degree A strong desire to work on leading edge science of measurement and a high level of motivation to work in teams, multidisciplinary international research in the field of materials science is essential. Postdoctoral Position in Eawag Aquatic Research


Tech Scholarships The work referred to will focus on early diagenetic processes / Fe Mn in sediment layers of Lake Baikal, Siberia.

Lake Baikal is the largest freshwater reservoir on earth, and very oligotrophic and pristine in the majority. The city is located in the tectonic rift zone, is 25-30 years old and holds mio some 7 km of sediments. Well-structured layers of Fe and Mn oxide forms on the redox interface of sediments in some locations.Tech Scholarships In certain areas of the lake floor, the remains are buried in the sediment layer and bear the possibility to be used as a proxy indicator of past global changes in climate conditions. Eligibility Details:

Tech Scholarships Candidates for this position holds a Ph.D. propose a degree in environmental sciences. He has knowledge in freshwater lake sediments, geochemistry, early diagenetic processes, and takes interest in modeling. A good command of English and writing skills are essential.
